A Message from Norm Pirtovshek, Vice President & General Manager of Canada's Wonderland

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) matter remains a part of our daily lives, the team at Canada’s Wonderland continues to work with health and safety experts as we plan for increased safety measures and operational changes throughout our park. We are in constant communication with our provincial and federal governments and are looking forward to welcoming you back just as soon as it is safe to do so.

Although our reopen date is still uncertain, we’re pleased to share that construction on our new attractions, Mountain Bay Cliffs and Beagle Brigade Airfield, is set to resume shortly and should be complete within a month’s time.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to the park. Until then, enjoy some virtual Canada’s Wonderland experiences, like a ride on one of our roller coasters, or make our classic funnel cake at home. We also have educational and creative activities online for kids of all ages.

As previously announced, we have extended the validity of all 2020 Season Passes and Season Pass Add-On Products through the 2021 season, plus we have paused Easy Pay billing while the park is closed*. Likewise, we will continue to work with guests who may have prepaid single-day tickets valid for days during our temporary park closure. Ticket inquiries may be directed to https://www.canadaswonderland.com/help/contact-us.

The safety of our guests and associates has always been and will always be our top priority. We want to assure you that when we do open, Canada’s Wonderland will continue to be a safe and fun environment for all. Our team is 100% committed to this promise. And we are working alongside industry experts and government officials toward this shared goal. We will keep you updated as we move forward; in the meantime, we thank you for your loyalty and continued support.

*2020 Season Passes and purchased 2020 Season Pass add-on products (if applicable) will be valid through the 2021 Season according to pass type. For 2020 Season Passholders participating in our Easy Pay Program, monthly billing has been suspended, and will remain suspended while the park is closed.  When the park reopens, billing will resume.  Passholders will need to be current on payments to receive both 2020 and 2021 Season Pass admission and associated benefits.

A Message from Norm Pirtovshek, Vice President & General Manager of Canada's Wonderland

As we face these unprecedented circumstances, I want to thank you for your support of Canada’s Wonderland.  We continue to monitor and follow local and national health directives while preparing to open our park as soon as it is safe to do so.

Given the uncertainty surrounding our park opening date, I want to share information on how we will manage 2020 Season Passholder benefits:

  • 2020 Season Passes and purchased 2020 Season Pass Add-On Products (if applicable) will be valid for the remainder of 2020 when our park is able to open.
  • Additionally, we will extend the validity dates for current 2020 Season Passes (as well as purchased 2020 Season Pass Add-On Products) through the 2021 Season according to pass type.
  • For 2020 Season Passholders participating in our Easy Pay Program, monthly billing has been suspended as of today, April 15, 2020, and will remain suspended while the park is closed.  When the park opens, billing will resume.  Passholders will need to be current on payments to receive both 2020 and 2021 Season Pass admission and associated benefits.

Likewise, we will work with Guests who have prepaid single-day tickets during the time period of our temporary park closure. Ticket inquiries may be directed to guestservices@canadaswonderland.com.

We want nothing more than to open our park and welcome you back, but our priority for now is to keep everyone safe.  This is a challenging time for us all, and we thank you again for your understanding and loyalty to Canada’s Wonderland.

At Cedar Fair, the safety and well-being of our Guests and Associates are always our top priorities.

We have been continuously monitoring and following regional and national health directives related to COVID-19, and we want to keep you informed on how these events will impact our park schedule. Currently, it is our hope to open Canada’s Wonderland mid-May or as soon thereafter as possible. We believe this decision is in the best interest of our associates, our guests, and our community.

We will work with Guests who have prepaid single-day tickets during the time period of our park closure. You may contact us at guestservices@canadaswonderland.com.

For 2020 Season Passholders, we will be adding days to the park’s operating calendar to accommodate for the days the park is temporarily closed (against the original 2020 operating calendar). Additionally, 2020 Season Passholders will enjoy added-value benefits to be announced at the time of park opening.

We appreciate the support and cooperation of our Guests and Associates during this ever-evolving situation. Your loyalty to our park is invaluable. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely,

Richard Zimmerman

At Cedar Fair, there is nothing more important than the safety of our guests and associates. This is our highest priority now and always.

As we continue to monitor developments surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to provide you with another update regarding our parks. We will be temporarily closing Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA, and both Schlitterbahn Waterparks in New Braunfels and Galveston Island, Texas, effective Saturday, March 14. The parks will remain closed until the end of this month. In addition, we will also be postponing the opening of California’s Great America in Santa Clara, CA, Kings Dominion, in Doswell, VA, and Carowinds in Charlotte, NC until the first weekend of April. We believe this decision is in the best interest of our associates, our guests, and our communities.

All our hotel properties will remain open as scheduled. We will work with our guests who have prepaid single-day tickets or booked hotel rooms during the time period of our park closures. Please reference our individual parks websites for information on how to contact Guest Services with your inquiries. We are committed to responding to questions and requests over the days and weeks ahead, and we ask for your continued support and patience as we work hard to address all guest concerns.

We continue to implement preventive measures as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as our own health and hygiene protocols. Additionally, we are maintaining close relationships with local, state, national, and international public health authorities and are taking their guidance as additional preventive measures are deemed necessary.

Our guests and associates are considered family. We have their well-being at the forefront of our decision-making. We appreciate the continued loyalty and trust in Cedar Fair and our family of parks and resorts.

Sincerely,

Select “Make a Payment” in the portal.  You can pay the full balance at any time. Or to make your monthly payment, please log in on or after the date your payment would have normally processed.

Your future payments will remain suspended, but you can visit the online portal in the future to make additional payments. After billing resumes, if you make a payment online but still have future payments remaining, they will bill on the same day of the month you are normally billed.

Note, if you update your payment information all payments including paused payments will be charged immediately to your account.
