See what Canada's Wonderland looks like in the snow (PHOTOS)
A hibernating amusement park covered in snow is a magical thing. The colours of roller coaster tracks stand stark against a wall of white, and midways that are usually a bustle of people in the summer, are quiet and blanketed in several feet of snow. Some areas may eventually get plowed, but in others, the only evidence of activity are the rabbit, squirrel and raccoon tracks that occasionally zig-zag the path.
Whenever we get our first big dumping of snow, I make a point to bundle up for a walk and capture the beauty of this place to share with our guests at home. For this particular adventure - which took place just after the big snowfall at the end of January – I was joined by photographer and park friend Chris Robart who happily trudged along with me, camera in hand, through some very deep snow and all areas of the park.
Enjoy the photos and think warm thoughts!
