Fall Chaperone Policy
The safety of our guests and associates has always been a top priority at Canada's Wonderland. In response to increasing incidents of disruptive behavior across the industry and at other entertainment venues, we are implementing a chaperone policy to maintain a safe, family-friendly environment.
Further details will be released soon.
Bag Policy
To support a safe environment for our guests and to help expedite entry during Haunt, Canada's Wonderland is implementing enhanced bag restrictions after 6:00 PM local time daily.
Bag Requirements:
- After 6:00 PM, all bags must be no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”, regardless of material (clear or opaque).
- Each guest is permitted to bring only one bag into the park after 6:00 PM.
- All bags are subject to thorough inspection prior to entry at any time.
- Oversized bags will not be permitted into the park after 6:00 PM.
Exceptions:
- Medically necessary items are permitted after proper inspection.
- Guests with special circumstances may speak with a security supervisor upon arrival for consideration on a case-by-case basis.
Additional Notes:
- This policy applies to all bag types, including backpacks, purses, diaper bags, and camera bags.
- Canada's Wonderland recommends guests minimize the number of items they bring to help streamline the entry process.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us create a safe and efficient park experience for all guests.
No Re-Entry Policy
To support the safety and flow of park operations during Haunt, guests who exit the park after 6:00 PM will not be permitted to re-enter the park on the same day. This no re-entry policy is in effect during all Haunt hours.
Guests are encouraged to plan accordingly before exiting the park after the policy is in effect.
Please note: No exceptions will be made once a guest has exited the park during restricted hours, regardless of ticket type. Re-entry is not permitted for forgotten items, weather conditions, or personal needs.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping create a secure and enjoyable experience for all guests during Haunt.
Mask & Costume Policy
To maintain a safe and family-friendly environment, the following costume and mask guidelines are in place at Canada's Wonderland:
- Costume masks, full face paint, and costume attire are not permitted for guests aged 11 and older.
- Trench coats, flak jackets, or similar military-style apparel are not allowed inside the park.
- No masks of any kind are permitted on rides at any time.
Exceptions:
- Children 10 years old and under may wear costumes and masks during daytime hours as part of kid-focused events in designated areas only.
- This policy does not apply to masks worn for health or safety purposes, such as those intended to reduce the spread of COVID-19 or other illnesses, as interpreted by park staff. Final discretion rests with park management.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all guests.
Photography & Recording Policy – Haunted Mazes
For the safety of our scare actors and guests—and to preserve the immersive experience—no cameras, photography, video recording, or audio recording of any kind is permitted inside haunted mazes. This includes the use of cell phones, smartwatches, GoPros, camera eyeglasses, body cameras, or any other recording-capable device.
Guests observed using recording devices inside haunted mazes may be subject to removal from the park without refund.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a thrilling and safe experience for everyone.
Halloween Haunt is no longer separately ticketed from daytime operation of Canada's Wonderland. Guests can enjoy a full day of fall thrills—including Camp Spooky—plus nighttime scares during Halloween Haunt with just one ticket or valid Gold or Prestige Pass. Guests will no longer need to leave and re-enter the park with the start of Halloween Haunt. However, to access haunted mazes, guests will now need to purchase a Haunted Attractions Pass.
This change reflects an exciting new evolution in the event. The Haunted Attractions Pass allows us to deliver more intense scares and better manage guest flow. This way, those who want the full terror experience can enjoy it at its peak, while other guests can still enjoy everything else the park offers.
Whether you’re using a daily ticket, Gold Pass, or Prestige Pass, your admission includes:
- Access to more than 50 world-class rides and coasters
- Camp Spooky daytime activities and shows
- Scare zones and live shows during Halloween Haunt
(Note: Haunted mazes require a separate Haunted Attractions Pass.)
You’ll still have access to:
- More than 50 rides and coasters operating at night
- All scare zones across the park
- Live Halloween shows
Only haunted mazes require an additional fee.
