Celebrate the Victoria Day Long Weekend at Canada’s Wonderland

Adrian Di Stefano

Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Are you looking for the ultimate celebration this Victoria Day long weekend to kick off your summer fun? Well say no more! Join us as we celebrate not only Queen Victoria’s birthday, but ours as well.

This year marks our 37th birthday and we’d be lying if we said this long weekend would be dull.

Ladies first, so let’s start with our annual Victoria Day celebration on Sunday, May 20. You can spend your whole day enjoying over 70 amazing rides, including our newest rides Lumberjack and Flying Canoes. And catch some great live entertainment including Snoopy’s Dog Days of Summer, Snoopy’s Symphony of Water and the very talented Woofjocks Canine All-Stars!

At about 10 p.m., watch in awe as our monumental fireworks illuminate the sky for another breathtaking display.

Did you know that our fireworks take three days to install? Talk about a birthday preparation! More than 375 hours go into designing and mounting the show, with 11 separate firing positions and 1,800 firing cues creating a spectacular display atop of our iconic Wonder Mountain.

You’ll witness over 6,000 colourful explosions, reaching heights of over 800 feet, which is sure to ignite thrills for guests of all ages. Each of our fireworks shows has a unique, custom-design set to an original soundtrack that you won’t find anywhere else in Toronto!

As if that’s not enough to get your long weekend on the right track, join us on Monday, May 21 as we celebrate our 37th birthday with FUN and THRILLS…and $37 admission (online only)!

This year’s festivities will be topped off with amazing street performers and an epic PEANUTS dance party inside the Front Gate on International Street. And let’s face it, who doesn’t love a good dance party?

Think we’re done with you yet? Not so fast!

In honour of this exciting weekend, take advantage of the in-park specials on some tasty treats including 50% off the new Kicker signature poutine and discounts on some of our fan-favourite games like Milk Can, Alpen Foul Shot and Peanuts Putt Putt.

So if you’re looking for fun things to do in Toronto this long weekend, look no further. Come out and celebrate with us!

And if you plan on visiting the park more than once this season, be sure to pick up your 2018 Canada’s Wonderland Season Pass for as low as $71.99 online! Hurry, prices go up May 21.

*Please note that the fireworks start at approximately 10 p.m. weather permitting. Certain rides are subject to close early on these dates.
