There’s a new Food & Wine Festival at Canada’s Wonderland!
June 4, 2024
For three weekends in June, you can elevate your amusement park experience with a little wine, charcuterie, jazzy music, art and guided wine tastings!
Canada’s Wonderland is hosting a Food & Wine Festival on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from June 7 to 23. It will feature a selection of local and international wines, culinary delights to pair with them, live music, entertainment, guided wine tastings, cooking demos and more.
You can get more information on the event page or check out the event guide PDF, but in a nutshell, here’s everything you need to know if you’re thinking of visiting:
- You don’t need an extra ticket to access the festival. Your park admission or Season Pass gets you in! Food, wine and certain activities require an extra purchase.
- The festival is located in the south-end of the park in Grande World Expo (by the globe).
- Though the park opens at 10 a.m. each day, the festival kicks off at 2 p.m. with food and wine tents opening and entertainment ramping up.
- There will be four wine and food tents: Ontario White Wines, Ontario Red Wines, White Wines of the World and Red Wines of the World. In addition, there will be two main bars that serve all drink selections.
- Food will be available for purchase at all bars and tents and will feature charcuterie, a flight of spreads with flatbread, fondue and baguette, a sommelier’s selection, palmier and a baker’s basket of savoury pastries.
- There will be two stages with live entertainment throughout the event, including singers, jazz bands, string quartets and dueling pianos.
- Visiting chefs will present live cooking demonstrations on the patio stage at Grande World Eatery.
- Check the mobile app or in-park festival signs for all the showtimes.
- You can take a guided wine tasting with a certified sommelier from the Sommelier Factory Wine School. These sessions will expand your wine knowledge and hone your tasting skills! Cost is $19.99 per person and includes a wine tasting flight (four 2-oz pours), small charcuterie plate and guided tasting session. Sign up for a session in-park only, at All the Rage (by the globe).
- Other activities include photo ops, live painting, games and a paint-by-numbers mural where guests can help finish a masterpiece!
This festival is here for three weekends only! Don’t miss it, get your tickets to the park today.
