The Ultimate Guide to Halloween Haunt in 2025

Canada's Wonderland Photo Canada's Wonderland |
October 6, 2025

Halloween Haunt is back at Canada’s Wonderland, turning the theme park into a scream park filled with Halloween attractions that offer unforgettable thrills and unspeakable horror! There’s a lot packed into our spooky event this year, so here’s your BIG ultimate guide to Halloween Haunt in 2025.

What’s Halloween Haunt?

Halloween Haunt is our nighttime event running select nights Sept. 26 through to Nov. 1. It’s the biggest Halloween event in the Toronto area! The entire park is decked out with spooky theming and Halloween décor, and guests can experience seven immersive scare zones, six haunted mazes* and go on thrilling night rides. There are also hundreds of monsters and zombies loose in the park and we’ve got sinister live shows and music as well!

*Requires a Haunted Attraction Pass for entry.

When is it?

Halloween Haunt at Canada's Wonderland takes place select nights Sept. 26 through Nov. 1 - check our online calendar for specific dates! On Fridays we open at 6pm and close at midnight. Saturday and Sunday we're open all day and the park does not close ahead of Haunt. But be warned, the monsters come out around 6:30pm so look out if you've got little ones! Saturday night we close at midnight, Sundays at 11pm. We are also open for three Thursdays (Oct. 16, 23, 30) and are open 6 - 11pm those nights. Please keep in mind that front gate closes to guest admission ONE HOUR prior to park closing, so be sure to get here before!

How do I get in?

You can purchase a ticket online OR buy a 2026 Gold Pass. The admission ticket is good for daytime access as well, but make sure if you leave, you’re back in the park before 6pm because after that time there is no re-entry allowed.

However, our best value will be the 2026 Gold Pass. If you purchase that now, you get unlimited access to the park immediately, including daytime access through fall and Camp Spooky (for the kids – read more about it here), Halloween Haunt, PLUS WinterFest coming up in November. And all of 2026 of course!

The Conjuring Beyond Fear horror attraction

What’s The Conjuring: Beyond Fear attraction?

This is our new SCREAMIUM attraction located inside Wonder Mountain by Thunder Run. It’s an immersive horror experience and it’s nothing like anything we’ve had at Haunt before! Guests will embark on a supernatural journey in small groups, navigating iconic scenes from New Line Cinema’s The Conjuring Universe. You’ll be recruited as paranormal investigators on a mission to restore order after dark forces escape from the cursed objects within the Warren Artifact Room. The experience includes interactive challenges and spans more than 20 minutes.

How do I get access to The Conjuring: Beyond Fear attraction?

This attraction is not included with admission to Halloween Haunt. Guests must first purchase either a single-entry ticket for the attraction, or a Haunted Attraction Express Pass (which includes express entry to all other mazes). These must be purchased in-park and are limited availability. Check the mobile app for sale locations. Next, guests must pick up a queue entry time at the booth by The Conjuring: Beyond Fear entrance. The booth opens at noon on Saturdays and Sundays and queue times are first come, first served. Note, this is not an entry time – but rather, the time you may enter the queue.

What else do I need to know about The Conjuring: Beyond Fear?

This is an interactive experience that lasts more than 20 minutes. You’ll be asked to participate and complete tasks – be brave! You may be asked to stoop or crawl inside the attraction if you are able. It is fully accessible, so if you need assistance, please notify an associate. Photography, video recording, flashlights, laser pens and mobile phone use is not permitted inside the attraction. Special effects such as strobe lighting and artificial fog are used throughout. Areas are dark or dimly lit and the attraction contains loud or startling noises. You may or may not be gently touched during this experience. Please do not touch the performers. By entering you agree to comply with all instructions. This attraction is not recommended for anyone who does not enjoy getting scared.

Crypt maze Halloween Haunt

All about the haunted mazes

There are six haunted mazes at Halloween Haunt, filled with monsters and creatures waiting for their next victim. New this year, guests will require a Haunted Attraction Pass (HAP) if they’d like to access them. This is available for purchase online but must be redeemed for a wristband in park, at any location that sells them (see mobile app under "Shopping & Activites"). The HAP Express gets you priority lane access to mazes and one entry to The Conjuring Beyond Fear. This product is only available in-park for purchase.

Mazes include:

  • Demons of the Deep (Frontier Canada):  Plunge into the abyss where a deserted marine lab conceals the terrifying results of twisted experiments. Navigate flooded passages and eerie underwater scenes as you encounter the nightmarish results of science gone wrong.
  • Dark Ride (Front Gate)- The Maze: An abandoned carnival ride sits dark and in ruin, its time of amusement long dead. Unbeknownst to curious visitors, the long-neglected attraction now houses a sinister world of terror created by outcast carnival workers and performers. Explore this Dark Ride at your own peril, for the freaks wait within with wicked smiles and treacherous plans.
  • Spirit Manor (Frontier Canada): Beware of the cursed mansion set high on a hill, up a winding lane. Towering over all its visitors, the crumbling manor bears no resemblance to the grand abode it once was. Everywhere you turn, demons lurk in the darkness, searching for their next victim.
  • Cornstalkers (Frontier Canada): Old man Howell’s farm drew thousands each fall to visit his elaborate corn maze. Within the twisting aisles and dead-ends, families laughed and explored under the golden autumn sun, scarecrows watching over the activities from their perch between the corn rows. Every morning he would open the gates to waiting visitors, allowing them to wander his maze at their leisure; his only rule was to be out by dusk.  That is, until some teens snuck in after dark. When their bodies were found, the parents and townspeople accused Howell of the murder. A legend grew that the land was haunted and what was once a beloved yearly tradition, became a collective nightmare.
  • The Crypt (Medieval Faire):  Extending below the bustling streets of the city are the catacombs housing the remains of more than six million people. Disinterred from cemeteries and discarded in an unused mine at a time when cemetery space was limited, the remains have been forgotten and have become merely decoration in a growing tourist attraction.
  • The Ruins (Wonder Mountain): Centuries ago, world-renowned archaeologist Dr. Carver gathered an adventurous team to uncover ruins that had not seen human contact in thousands of years. Shrouded in mystery, the adventurers knew the dangers they faced but had no idea just how deadly a mission they had embarked upon. To this day, no one knows exactly what they found when they entered those long-forgotten tombs, but legends of massacre and evil curses still remain. Some say Dr. Carver encountered devilish creatures lurking in the shadows, waiting for new victims to torture for all eternity.

Trick or treat scare zone

Other Halloween activities you can enjoy at Haunt

We have seven immersive scare zones throughout the park. Enter if you dare and come face-to-face with some terrifying characters:

  • Necropolis (Grande World Expo): Step into Necropolis and enter the underworld where the dead wait to terrorize the living. Ancient mausoleums, labyrinthine passages and dark tombs conceal the guardians of this deathly place. Don’t linger too long… they may select you to join their ghostly ranks.
  • Trick or Treat Street (Frontier Canada): The most twisted Halloween Street party has come to town and you’re invited. Expect deranged decor, eerie party guests and ghoulish games. We’re sure you’ll have a diabolically haunted time.
  • CarnEvil (NEW location in Grande World Expo): The carnival has come to town, and mayhem reigns, as the freak show characters, carnival performers and wicked clowns scour the streets beckoning you to join in on the fun. Amused by fear, these twisted performers feed off the terror of passersby. Beware, if you make eye contact, you just might fall for this act.
  • Gates of Terror (Front Gate): You’ve arrived at Halloween Haunt, but you must pass through the Gates of Terror to reach your final destination. Beware the monsters lurking in the night. They feast on humans and search for souls who dare to enter their haunting grounds. Watch your back, because there is always a reason to be scared of the dark.
  • Kingdom Of Carnage (Medieval Faire): A wicked king has ruled over these lands with fear and violence for too long. The peasants have formed a militia and are staging a siege upon the castle in a desperate act to end the brutal tyranny. It’s a bloody, endless fight with many lives lost on both sides. Just as the advancing villagers begin to gain ground, the king and his forces unleash an evil terror sourced from dark magic that threatens to consume everyone and everything in its path. Do you run, or join the battle for freedom?
  • Streets of the Undead (Action Zone): In the wake of a zombie apocalypse, survivors are faced with a grim choice: either turn back to again face the nightmares of the park or push ahead and try to reach the Safe Zone.  Reaching the thrills beyond won’t be easy however as the tangled mess of rubble and barricades that once kept these zombies out now keeps them trapped inside the haunted Halloween attractions of the Streets of the Undead!
  • Wicked Hollow (Frontier Canada): Beyond Wonder Mountain there once was an enchanted forest, home to benevolent fairies and mystical creatures who lived peaceful, simple lives. Then a dark curse overtook the land and its inhabitants. The fairies became evil, noxious, spell-wielding fairies that loved nothing more than to torture unsuspecting travelers with their magic and haunted activities. Beware if you step into the Wicked Hollow, for the evil fairies lie in wait…

Inferno live show Haunt

There’s also a lineup of jaw-dropping live entertainment:

  • Inferno: From the fiery depths of hell comes Inferno, the hottest live show at Halloween Haunt. Watch our fire demons perform stunning feats of athleticism, balance and movement with the flames of the underworld. One poor soul’s ladder acrobatics will leave you gasping. Be prepared to be captivated!
  • Location: Inferno Stage in Arthur's Baye, Medieval Faire
  • Showtimes: 8:00 PM | 9:00 PM | 10:00 PM
  • Freak Show: The carnival has come to town and the Freak Show is ready to captivate with thrilling and gruesome acts! You'll be shocked, you'll be awed, but we bet you can't turn away. Be warned, this performance is not for the faint of heart!
  • Location: Grande World Expo Stage
  • Showtimes: 7:30 PM | 8:30 PM | 9:30 PM | 10:20 PM
  • Head Bangers: Rock out with LED drummers mixing techno beats, water drumming and electrifying guest interaction!
  • Location: Rock Stage in Action Zone by Coasters Diner
  • 7:15 PM | 8:15 PM | 9:15 PM | 10:15 PM
  • Haunt Live Music: Rock out with live performances on in Medieval Faire by the Thirsty Dragon Bar.
  • 8:20 PM | 9:20 PM | 10:20 PM

Don’t forget the food, fun and night rides!

  • Try some fun Halloween Food: We have a spooky Halloween menu of tantalizing bites and drinks – see highlights here.
  • Try the interactive lantern experience: Guests can purchase a themed lantern that activates dozens of spooky features throughout the park, including shows! Enjoy unlocking the magic with each other at Halloween Haunt! Buy one online or at the park.
  • Go shopping at the Halloween Boo-tique: Into skeleton decor? Looking for a cute Halloween plush to take home? (Check out our adorable Haunt bats!) Pop by the Halloween Boo-tique for all your spooky, seasonal needs. All these items are to die for!
  • Experience new thrills on our night rides: Riding a roller coaster in the daytime is one thing, but it's a whole other level when you climb aboard at night! Whip through the dark on our attractions, and see if you can handle this nighttime adrenelaine rush.
