Canada's Wonderland's Entertainment Team is hiring performers, technicians, costumers and mascot characters
The Live Entertainment Division at Canada's Wonderland is searching for talented entertainers, technicians, costumers, and mascot characters to fill more than 200 positions for our upcoming season of shows!
Upcoming In-Person Audition Dates:

- Canada’s Wonderland Employee Entrance - 1 Amusement Drive
- Registration begins at 12:30pm, Auditions to start at 1pm
- Please enter the park from the North side at the Employee Entrance off of Major Mackenzie Drive (Amusement Drive) and park in the “Seasonal” parking lot on the left hand side
- While in-person auditions are preferred for local candidates, should you not be available to attend we are also accepting Video Audition submissions for our live performance positions. Please note that all applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada at time of hiring – Canada’s Wonderland does not currently offer any work permit/work VISA sponsorship at this time.

Audition Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 15 years old by April 2023 and legally eligible to work in Canada.
You will need to provide the following:
- Headshot
- Performance Resume including up to date contact information
- Availability Dates
- Specific Employment Interest and Experience in Each Interested Position
IN-PERSON AUDITIONS:
Open call auditions may take an extended period depending on turnout. You may be required to remain on site for 3 hours or more. Please notify the registration team if you have any time restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate. Auditions will typically conclude with the dance call, so singers and dancers should be prepared to stay for that if required.
VIDEO SUBMISSIONS:
Include a video link (One Drive, Google Drive, Unlisted Youtube video, etc.) to your submission – please ensure sharing permissions are set that anyone with the link may view
At the beginning of your video, please slate your name and where you are from. Tell us a little bit about yourself, including your training and experience to give us an insight into your personality and character.
If applicable, please include a performance reel with a portion of past or current productions that show your performing experiences and training.
Requirements for a SINGER Audition
Please select two contrasting song selections 16 – 32 bars in length. Please keep in mind that most of our shows consist of pop & rock content, however you may include up to one musical theatre selection. Please no a cappella, classical, or original compositions. Selections should showcase a warm belt, vocal range, and accurately match the vocal style of each genre. For in-person auditions, please be prepared for a dance/movement call following your vocal audition.
Video submissions:
You will also be asked to learn the SINGER version of our attached dance combination and to record a video of yourself performing the combination in your video submission. You may also include a link to a dance reel on your submission displaying your strongest style of dance. If you are auditioning as a dancer also, please refer to the additional requirements below.
Requirements for a DANCER Audition
For in-person auditions, please come prepared for a dance/movement call. In addition to learning choreo, you may be asked to improv and showcase your best skills/tricks (i.e. turns, jumps, leaps, specialty moves).
Video submisisons:
Please review the dance combination provided at this link. Auditionees will be asked to learn the full dancer version of combination, record a video of yourself performing the combination, and include it in your video submission. You may also include a link to a dance reel on your submission displaying your strongest style of dance.
In addition to the combination, please complete a minimum 2 counts of 8 at the end of the combo showing your best skills (i.e. turns, jumps, leaps, specialty moves).
Video Requirements for an ACTOR Audition
Prepare a 60-90 second, comedic monologue appropriate for a family-park atmosphere. Please also include any improvisational experience in your resume & video submission (if applicable).
For in-person candidates, you may be asked to cold read or improvise.
Video Requirements for an INSTRUMENTAL/MUSICIAN Audition
We are looking for a wide range of musical styles for a variety of shows. Please prepare 2-3 selections of varying styles, choosing music that is upbeat and positive. Please keep in mind that most of our shows consist of pop, rock, & Dixieland style content. Videos should be limited to 2–3 minutes. Please, no original compositions, highly progressive jazz or hard rock. All our instrumentalists play an active role in our shows, so stage presence and personality are a must! Be sure to perform while playing whether in person or on video.
- DIXIELAND MUSICIANS (SAX, CLARINET, TRUMPET, TUBA, TROMBONE, etc.): Please include at least one Dixieland standard in your selections (When The Saints Go Marching In, Bill Bailey, When You’re Smiling, Etc.)
- DRUMMERS: Please show a variety of styles (i.e. pop, rock, funk, etc.) Please demonstrate proficiency in drum kit, as well as any drumline &/or auxiliary percussion skills you have.
- GUITAR/BASS AND KEYBOARD PLAYERS: Please showcase a variety of styles with at least one rock selection.
- MULTI INSTRUMENTALISTS: Please demonstrate proficiency on any instruments you play.
- VOCALS ARE A PLUS! Please include a vocal selection if you sing. You may accompany yourself. Please note that a vocal audition submission is not a requirement.
