O Canada, it’s that time of year again!

Canada Day is here and that means summer is too (finally), and what better way to spend Canada’s birthday than with our action-packed lineup of events that will keep you busy all weekend long!

Kicking off June 29 is Celebration Canada! Running until July 14, enjoy a myriad of Canadian-themed entertainment, shows and food that guests of all ages will enjoy!

The best part of Celebration Canada is that all the shows and entertainment are FREE with your park admission.

Highlights include:

Canada Day Fireworks: See a spectacular fireworks display at 10 p.m. on July 1, featuring more than 6,000 colourful explosions timed to an original soundtrack.

West Coast Lumberjacks: Internationally recognized for their daredevil skills, these lumberjacks will entertain guests of all ages with Tree Climbing, Axe Throwing, Chainsaw Carving, and more!

NEW FOR 2019- Tundra: A Cirque Experience: Prepare to be mesmerized by magical displays of acrobatics, mystique and athleticism as the performers of Tundra take you on a tour of the cold north featuring the breathtaking Northern Lights. You’ll have the chance to interact with several characters while they invite you into their home and show you the imaginary world beneath the snow known as Tundra!

Traditional Canadian Food: Celebration Canada isn’t complete without specialty food items like Peameal Bacon Sandwiches, Ontario BBQ Chicken, Poutine, Maple Sugar and Butter Poached Corn on the Cob, Mac ‘N Cheese, Butter Tarts and more!

Starlight Spectacular: A breathtaking night-time spectacle with a stunning display of lighting, music, lasers and water effects, set to the backdrop of 3D projection on Wonder Mountain.

Street Performers: Enjoy the antics of stilt walkers, jugglers, and more in Frontier Canada throughout the day!

Live Music: What better way to celebrate Canada than with live entertainment! Great bands will play some of Canada’s best tunes, from the east coast to the west coast.

With all these amazing things happening, don’t forget to check out some of our other jaw-dropping shows that we have lined up.

Ultimate Thrills Circus: Be entertained with edge-of-your-seat thrills including the Globe of Death motorcycle act, the balancing talents of the Surnina Sisters, the Bertini Family Unicyle and the Human Cannonball Brian Miser, current contestant on America’s Got Talent.

Flying Frontenacs: Don’t miss the Flying Frontenacs as they stunt dive off a 70ft (21m) platform and showcase their athleticism on trampolines with incredible flips, turns, and dives.

For a closer look into these Canadian festivals, be sure to check out the Celebration Canada page on our website.

Don’t forget to download the Canada’s Wonderland app on your phone so you can schedule your day at the park and not miss a thing.

Happy Birthday Canada! Now, let’s celebrate!
