Celebrate Victoria Day long weekend at home with virtual fireworks from Canada’s Wonderland
May 14, 2020We wish we could be together at the park to celebrate the Victoria Day long weekend, but we’ll give you the next best thing – a virtual fireworks display! If you’re planning to celebrate in your own way while at home, end your night with our amazing fireworks show. Set chairs up, or get comfy on the couch, load up our fireworks show on Youtube and enjoy the spectacular lights!
Featuring more than 6,000 explosions of colour above the park skyline, our display typically requires 375 hours of design and installation work, with 11 separate firing positions and 1,800 firing cues. This video features approximately 6 minutes of a previous show, filmed in 2019.
Here’s how to set up your virtual fireworks show:
- Open up your web browser to head to Youtube or open the Youtube app on your TV.
- Set up your viewing area, on the couch or with chairs. Get comfortable! Make a snack!
- Go to the Canada’s Wonderland channel (find this through the search function)
- Either go to our Videos page, or check the home page for our Virtual Fireworks Video.
- Double check the settings at the bottom right of the video to ensure that you are viewing it in 1080p60 HD
- Click, hit play and enjoy!
