What to Pack Before You Arrive

  • Your Season Pass, mobile, or printed tickets.
  • A face covering for each guest age two years and older. Face coverings should completely cover the nose and mouth, and not have exhalation valves or vents, which allow virus particles to escape. All guests age two and older are required to wear a face covering in all indoor spaces, on rides, and outdoors where 2 metres physical distance cannot be maintained (with limited exceptions, including Splash Works and water attractions).
  • Contactless payment methods (other than cash) such as debit, credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
  • A mobile phone with the Canada’s Wonderland app downloaded and "Location Services" enabled. It is recommended that at least one person in your group should have the app downloaded to their mobile device.

When You Arrive

Our reopening plan calls for new arrival processes to prepare everyone for a safe and successful day at the park. Here’s what you’ll see and experience when you arrive at Canada's Wonderland:

  1. At the Canada's Wonderland parking toll booth, we will ask you for proof of parking payment. If you do not have a parking voucher, you may pay with a cashless payment method such as a credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
  2. Remember to bring your face covering with you. It will be required in all indoor spaces, on rides, and outdoors where 2 metres physical distance cannot be maintained (with limited exceptions, including Splash Works and water attractions). Face coverings should completely cover the nose and mouth, and not have exhalation valves or vents, which allow virus particles to escape.
  3. As you approach the front gate, there will be passive health screening signage asking guests to self-assess for COVID-19 symptoms or exposure to COVID-19 within the past 14 days. If anyone in your group does not pass the health assessment, please reschedule your visit to a different date.
  4. At the gate, our Canada's Wonderland bag policy remains in place.
  5. At our touchless turnstiles, scan your Season Pass or single-day ticket inside the mobile app and let the fun begin!

For everyone’s safety, all associates working in the park must complete a health assessment and temperature check each day before reporting to work. We’re all in this together!

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations

Unfortunately, no. Due to physical distancing, we must limit the number of guests at the park. You must purchase your Season Pass or ticket online or on the Canada's Wonderland mobile app prior to visiting the park.

All guests will need to make a reservation prior to visiting Canada’s Wonderland or Splash Works.

Each visiting guest will need a reservation attached to their ticket or Season Pass for every visit to the park. You will need to enter each ticket number or Season Pass number to add the reservation to each one individually. You can enter up to 14 numbers in one transaction to ensure everyone in your party gets the same date and time reservation.

Reservations can be made on our online reservation portal.

The online reservation portal is open now.

There is no waitlist process, but you are welcome to continue to check back as additional availability may be added based on updates to local capacity guidelines and/or cancellations. Or you can pick a different day with inventory available to ensure you can visit the park.

If a reservation is cancelled, that space will be added to the inventory available online. And periodically, we may be able to adjust total inventory.

Platinum Passholders wanting to visit other Cedar Fair parks should visit the website of the park they want to visit to view their visitation policies/make a reservation.

If you are part of a planned group visit to the park or have Group Sales tickets, contact your group organizer/leader for details. Group organizers/leaders should contact their park sales representatives directly.

There is no charge for the Season Passholder reservation date. And if that is the only item in your shopping cart, you will not need to enter credit card information to complete the transaction.

If you are unable to visit the park on the selected date or on the date of your Season Pass reservation, please visit our Booking Portal to adjust your visit date or contact Guest Services online and an associate will contact you to assist with cancelling your visit date.

The date reservation is attached to a specific ticket and cannot be transferred to another guest or another ticket.

As a Season Passholder, you may have up to two reservations at one time. Each reservation requires a separate transaction.

All guests will need to make a reservation prior to visiting Canada’s Wonderland or Splash Works.

If you arrive at the park without a reservation, please visit Guest Services to inquire about availability. We will accommodate you if possible, but there is no guarantee.

If you arrive prior to your reservation time, you may be asked to wait in your car to help maintain social distancing in the park entry plaza area. We encourage you to arrive at the time of your reservation and not prior to it.

We encourage you to arrive at the time of your reservation to help control entry flow and maintain social distancing while entering the park, but you will be allowed to enter after your reservation time.

Before You Leave Home

No, you will not be able to purchase Season Passes or tickets at the park. Please purchase your Season Pass or ticket online prior to visiting the park.

As a new Passholder without a Season Pass card, you will need to process your Season Pass. To make this easier and contact-free, you can now handle this online.

Simply create or login to your Canada’s Wonderland website account, click “Manage Passes,” click “ADD MY PASS” and enter the Ticket ID you received when you purchased online along with any other outstanding profile information. Once you’ve completed adding your pass, you’re all set to visit. You can even add your pass to the mobile app for quick and convenient entry into the park.

It is not required, but it is strongly recommended that you purchase parking in advance online before visiting the park.

Platinum Season Passes include parking so you just need to have your Season Pass available to be scanned at the parking toll booth.

Some ticket packages include parking, so you just need to have the barcode for that package available to be scanned at the parking toll booth.

Otherwise, please purchase a parking voucher online. One voucher is needed per car. This will be scanned at the parking toll booth.

Any of the following symptoms that are not caused by a known chronic health condition:

Additionally, you could be contagious if you have been in direct contact with a close relative, roommate or neighbor who has been diagnosed with the coronavirus or been told by a health care professional or employer you may have been exposed to the coronavirus.

You do not need to complete a health assessment questionnaire prior to arriving at the park. Instead, as you approach the front gate, there will be passive health screening signage asking guests to self-assess for COVID-19 symptoms or exposure to COVID-19 within the past 14 days. If anyone in your group does not pass the health assessment, please reschedule your visit to a different date.

If everyone in your family or group has been exposed to the person who has symptoms, it’s best if everyone in your party stays home and reschedule your visit.

Our park guidelines align with provincial and regional health guidelines, and so guests visiting the park are required to wear a face covering for their own safety and the safety of others. We will allow exemptions based on individual circumstances defined by York Region Public Health, including where a guest has a medical condition or disability that prevents them from wearing a mask. Guests needing accommodation to this policy must contact Guest Services at 905-832-8131 prior to booking to discuss individual accommodation needs.

If you are a guest with an Access 2 Card, you will need to purchase your ticket and reserve your visit on the Canada’s Wonderland website in advance. If you are a Season Passholder, you will still need to make a reservation. Each Access 2 Card will permit one complimentary admission for a support person, so they will not require a ticket or a reservation. When you arrive on your day of visit, please go directly to our front gate turnstiles and present your ticket voucher or Season Pass and your Access 2 Card.

When You're in the Park

Some areas, rides, and attractions are not conducive for physical distancing and are closed for now. See the mobile app for Canada's Wonderland and Splash Works' open attractions.

The attractions that are currently closed include:

  • Lazy River
  • Xtreme Skyflyer
  • Speed City Raceway
  • SlingShot
  • Boo Blasters on Boo Hill
  • Wonder Mountain's Guardian

According to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), it’s important for everyone to continue using all the tools available to help stop this pandemic as we learn more about how vaccines will affect the spread of COVID-19. To protect yourself and others, PHAC recommends taking precautions in public places such as wearing a face covering over your mouth and nose, staying at least 2 metres away from others, avoiding poorly ventilated spaces, and washing your hands often.

You may exit and re-enter the park. Guests will have their photo taken upon entering, which will be used for verification on re-enter. Guests do not need to go through the health screening entry procedures again.  Just show your ticket at the re-entry kiosk external front gate. Guests will need to go through the metal detection procedures again. Season Passholders need to show their Season Pass at the re-entry gate.

You are welcome to stay as long as you like until the park closes for the day.
