Canada’s Wonderland’s annual daytime Halloween event, Camp Spooky, takes place during weekends from September 30 - October 29, and is located in KidZville and Planet Snoopy areas. This scare-free celebration features activities perfect for the little ones in your family who are under the age of 13!
All of our Camp Spooky attractions, live shows and events are family-friendly. Included with your park admission, your family will be able to enjoy trick-or-treating, a costume contest, our all-new attraction, Pigpen’s Foam Pit and so much more. If you are looking to prepare for the day in the Park and make the most of your time here, take a look our Parent’s Guide to Camp Spooky:
1. Trick-or-Treating at Camp Spooky has returned. This family favorite activity begins with a Trick-or-Treat Map provided by Canada’s Wonderland Associates and features four stations. The map provides four clues that will lead you to each station location, and awaiting will be a delicious treat. BONUS: We have peanut-free candy available at each station. Yum!
Trick or Treat experience is for children 12 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Limit to one Trick or Treat ‘experience’ per child, per day.
2. There are many live shows that will be fun for your whole family. Camp Spooky offers plenty of interactive entertainment during the day and we want to make sure you get to be a part of all the excitement. Take note of the show line-up to help schedule your day:
Charlie Brown’s Trick or Treat Show: 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.
Spooky Tales with Snoopy: 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m.
Action Theatre presents It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown: Shows every 30 minutes, starting at 10 a.m.
For more details on our line-up and schedule, visit our Camp Spooky website.
3. Nothing says Hallowen more than children wearing creative costumes! Camp Spooky is more fun when everyone gets to dress-up in their favourite Halloween characters. If they will be wearing a mask or a costume, ensure that it doesn’t cover their eyes, or it will be hard to navigate through the Park. Consider makeup instead of a mask, but if a mask is a part of the costume, make sure the eye holes are big enough!
They will also get a chance to show off their awesome costumes by joining Lucy Van Pelt’s Costume Contest and parade! This is happening daily at 3:30 p.m.
4. Convenience for parents is just as important as fun for kids. Located in KidZville, our Parent Rest Area provides families with Guest Services, an ATM, KidTrack, and a Baby Changing station. KidTrack provides the little ones with wristbands where parents can write own their cell phone number, just in case an Associate comes across your child, and they will then be able to activate the KidTrack System. Additionally, the KidZville and Planet Snoopy areas have two family restrooms that makes it easier for you to spend your day with us at Camp Spooky.
Camp Spooky runs on Saturdays and Sundays, from now until October 29, between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. Don’t forget, it is included with regular park admission!
