When is the best time to buy a Canada’s Wonderland Season Pass?

As a Canada’s Wonderland employee, the question I get asked the most by friends and family is “when is the best time to buy a Season Pass?” The answer is simple.

Season Pass sales kick off in the summer/fall for the following year. That is definitely the best time to buy.

Here’s why...

Not only do you get the lowest guaranteed price, we typically offer great payment plan options. This year we’re offering our 2019 Season Passes for 12 easy payments of just $6.08. That’s less than the price of a combo at your favourite burger joint. But this offer will go away, and prices will increase as we get closer to the upcoming season.

In addition to getting the best pricing options available, buying a Season Pass in advance also comes with some great perks.

Right now, if you’re buying a new Season Pass (meaning if you didn’t own one in 2018), you get unlimited visits to the park. There are still a few more days to squeeze in some fun and thrills before the park closes for the season October 29 (save for Halloween Haunt which is open October 31).

If you’re renewing your 2018 Season Pass, you get one free Fast Lane Plus pass to use this weekend, as well as one free Bring-A-Friend ticket so you can share in the excitement with your BFF, a family member, or even a first date.

Prices for add-ons (including All-Season Dining Plans and All-Season Drink Refills) also tend to increase the longer you wait. So grabbing them early is a great way to save money, and maximize usage.

For 2019, we’re offering an all-new Gold Pass which comes with the same great perks as your Season Pass mentioned above and:
•    Unlimited access to Canada’s Wonderland and all your favourite rides
•    Unlimited access to Splash Works
•    PLUS unlimited access to Halloween Haunt
•    PLUS unlimited access to WinterFest

That’s right, you can enjoy the park during all four seasons with a Gold Pass. Right now, you can grab a Gold Pass for only $99.99, or 12 payments of $8.33. But just like Season Passes, these great offers won’t last long.

If you want to lock in a season of fun next year and get the most bang for your buck, now is the time to buy your Season Pass.

Or if you’re looking for gift ideas for family and friends, why not pick them up a Season Pass and create memories together next season? It really is the gift that keeps on giving.

But hurry, our best offer of the season goes away October 29. Visit our website full Season Pass pricing and benefits
