Photo contest celebrates Canada’s Wonderland’s newest thrill ride

Our new thrill ride Lumberjack is such a ‘swinging’ hit, we’re celebrating with an Instagram photo contest! Show us your Lumberjack spirit and you could have a chance to win a great admissions package to the park.

Snap a photo of yourself, or your friends, family, the dog – displaying some Lumberjack spirit and post to Instagram before June 18. Use the hashtag #CWLumberjack and tag us in the photo (@canadaswonderland), making sure your account is public. You’ll have a chance to win four general admission tickets to Canada’s Wonderland, four food vouchers and a parking voucher. It’s a prize pack valued at approximately $362!

Here’s some tips on showing your Lumberjack spirit:

Bust out the plaid: Have some plaid in your closet? Or plaid décor, pillows, blankets? Baby onesie? Embrace that Lumberjack look and give us your best fashion shot, or get creative with whatever you’ve got. (See our examples here. Much of our plaid is available for purchase at True North Gifts. Pop by next time you’re here!)

Get artistic: Have your kids draw or paint a picture of Lumberjack!

Snap a selfie with the ride: On your next visit, get a photo of yourself in front of Lumberjack (or our wooden Lumberjack statue). It makes for a great shot!

Channel your inner Lumberjack: Perhaps you naturally look like a Lumberjack. Beard and toque? That works! Hug a tree, pose out in the woods. Axes and chainsaws not required (and best avoided – please be safe folks!)

The winner will be randomly selected from all the photos that are tagged appropriately and posted by deadline. We’ll reach out via direct message on Instagram.

See you on Instagram!
