We Have A LOT to Celebrate During the May Long Weekend

posted by on

The Victoria Day long weekend marks an extra special occasion for us here at Canada’s Wonderland. Not only does it unofficially signify the beginning of summer, but we always plan fun and exciting events to celebrate not just Queen Victoria’s birthday, but ours as well! That’s right, we’ll be celebrating out 36th birthday at the park this weekend!

You won’t want to miss our annual Victoria Day Fireworks display on Sunday, May 21 (weather permitting). You can spend your whole day enjoying over 70 awesome rides, including our newest thrill ride Soaring Timbers. At 10:00* p.m., watch in awe as our action-packed fireworks illuminate the sky.

Each of our fireworks shows has a unique design with an original soundtrack that you won’t find anywhere else in Toronto! For approximately 30 minutes, you’ll witness over 6,000 colourful explosions. Pretty epic, right? We think so.

On Monday, May 22, join us as we celebrate our 36th birthday with FUN and THRILLS, including amazing street performers and a PEANUTS Dance Party inside the Front Gate on International Street. Who doesn’t love a good dance party? And don’t miss the in-park specials on some of your favourite treats! Guests can even purchase Regular Admission online for only $36**. That’s a $28 savings off the front gate price!

But if you’re planning on coming to the park more than once this season, pick up your 2017 Canada’s Wonderland Season Pass for as low as $69.99 online! Hurry, prices go up May 22.

So if you’re looking for fun things to do this long weekend, look no further. Come out and celebrate with us!

*Please note that the fireworks start at approximately 10:00 p.m. weather permitting. Certain rides are subject to close early on these dates.

**36th Birthday Regular Admission Ticket is only valid for use on Monday, May 22 and is available online only.
