Always Fun For The Whole Family

posted by on

Canada’s Wonderland is an iconic piece of Canada.  The largest theme park in Canada, and ranked second in the world for the number of roller coasters, it is and always has been a place for families to go and play.  My family is no exception to this and every year we visit for some fun in the sun. This year they have added a few new attractions to the park for guests to take advantage of. This year also marked two new milestones for my two youngest boys who made to a new height level this year which meant new rides to try.

Soaring Timbers, which is located across from Vortex in the park, was literally one of the coolest rides to watch.  I say watch because I was a little too chicken to try it.  You can watch the little video I took of it and you will see why I passed on this one. Maybe a later visit this summer will have me trying it out though as I love roller coasters of all kinds.

Splash Works also saw an addition with the new, unique and, adrenaline pumping attraction this season called, Muskoka Plunge – A 60ft (18 m) tall waterslide complex featuring four, speed slides. Riders will feel the adrenaline rush when they step into an enclosed launch chamber and suddenly plummet into a high-speed free fall through S-curves and 360° loops at speeds of approximately 40 km/h.
