Who doesn’t love finding a great place for a photo op, then sharing that perfect photo with your friends? Without a doubt, Canada’s Wonderland has plenty of picture-worthy backdrops. In fact, it has earned a place on Canada’s Top 10 Most Instagrammed locations list! If you’re looking to get in on the action we have come up with the six most popular photo spots of 2019 for you to check out on your next visit.

6. Planet Snoopy

There’s just something about our PEANUTS gang that everyone loves. Strike a pose on Rainbow Bridge or give a big hug to Snoopy and friends for the ultimate social post.

Pro Tip: Take a picture on Rainbow Bridge during the golden hour for a natural filter you can’t get anywhere else.

5. Leviathan

This legendary coaster is nothing short of a show stopper with its massive blue track. Head on over to Medieval Faire where you can find this mystical sea creature and photograph the ultimate Canada’s Wonderland experience.

Pro Tip: Have your photographer stand directly in line with the coaster to add depth to your picture.

4. Front Gate

A simple location for an Instagram-worthy portrait. Be sure to gather all of your friends and family, or take a solo shot, as this is one memorable photo that screams “We’re about to have the time of our lives!”.

Pro Tip: use the ‘rule of thirds’ when capturing this photo. This allows the photographer to create a seamless and symmetrical image that balances all aspects of the picture. This feature can be found on any phone once the grid is enabled.

3. Royal Fountain

This remarkable photo spot checks off all the boxes. A beautiful fountain, fantastic roller coaster, and blue skies will definitely make this the perfect backdrop for your next post.

Pro Tip: take your picture in the morning when fewer guests are in the park. This allows you to take a great wide angle photo with no crowd.

2. Yukon Striker

This is one picture you won’t want to miss – even if you haven’t yet worked up the nerve to ride. We have transformed this area of the park into one of the most photogenic and spectacular spaces, themed to the Klondike Gold Rush! Once you get the perfect picture, join the fun and dare yourself to ride the world record-breaking fastest, tallest and longest dive coaster.

Pro Tip: Stand directly below the water tower so your photographer can capture the 90-degree drop as part of your background!

1. Wonder Mountain

We have officially claimed Wonder Mountain as the most Instagrammable spot in the park! Although this famous landmark can’t help but be camera-friendly, there is an immense amount of opportunity for you to be creative with your photography skills. Take pictures from different angles around Front Gate Plaza with the Canadian Flag foral garden. Get the beautiful mountain in all of your pictures and we guarantee one of them will be claimed YOUR best Instagram photo.

Pro Tip: Take a picture at front gate garden as soon as you arrive in the morning while the sun is still southwest – it makes for a great quality photo.
