Family Fun Things to Do at Camp Spooky« Go Back Thursday, September 15th, 2016
Celebrate Halloween in a family-friendly way this fall and join us at Camp Spooky! For all the little monsters out there, this daytime event has tons of fun for the whole family. In addition to all the fun-filled rides in KidZville and Planet Snoopy, there are plenty of spooktacular activities at Camp Spooky, but here are our top 5 favourite things to do.
Nothing says Halloween like trick-or-treating! Stock up on the goodies as you wind your way through KidZville and Planet Snoopy. Stop by all our stations for a wide variety of treats sure to satisfy your sweet tooth – and your family’s too!
2. Get Lost in a Maze
Doing a maze with your family can be a fun adventure, especially if you get a little lost along the way! Enjoy the fresh air in our three themed mazes: Pirate Adventure, Enchanted Garden, or Peppermint Patty’s Hay Bale Maze. The twists and turns will keep you guessing and laughing the whole way through!
3. Watch a Movie
A classic family movie and one of our favourites, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, is turning 50 this year! To celebrate, we’re showing it on the big screen in Action Theatre. Whether it’s your first time seeing it or your fiftieth, this animated Halloween special is a hit with kids and parents alike.
4. Create a Lasting Memory
Let your kids show off their creative side at Sally Brown’s Creepy Crafts and then keep their work of art forever. Whether they draw a picture of a pumpkin or draw on one, these Halloween-themed crafts are fun for the whole family.
5. Participate in the Costume Parade
One of the best parts of the holiday is dressing up however you want! Will you be a witch, or a ghost, or something even spookier? Whatever it is, kids can come in costume for the Costume Parade every afternoon! Show off your boo-rific threads as you follow the Peanuts Gang through Camp Spooky. Sorry parents – kids only!
These activities and more make Camp Spooky so much fun for the whole family! Be sure to come visit us at our frightfully fun fall festival, which runs every Saturday and Sunday in October and is free with Park Admission. Happy Haunting!
